  1. This cover definitely peaks my interest in your book. I think a cover is very important. The first thing the reader see’s is that and it needs to attract enough interest to get someone to buy the book. This cover definitely gets my attention!

From Joe's writing

Jenny dropped the tube of lipstick into the white china bowl that sat on top of her dresser before crossing the room to flop down into bed. She stared up at the ceiling. She couldn’t understand why Shawn didn’t like Kristen. Being one of “the smart girls,” Jenny didn’t have a lot of friends, so when the girl had moved to Carthage and they’d seemed to have a lot in common, Jenny had taken an instant liking to her. They both enjoyed science fiction novels, Beatles music, and the entire CBS Friday night line-up of Wonder Woman, Logan’s Run, and Switch. What more could you ask for?
