Keelin finally reached the car just as the rain began to pour down from the heavens. She pulled on the handle, and it was unlocked, so the key fob must have worked after all. The tornado and the clamor of thunder were nearly deafening, so maybe she just hadn’t heard it. She opened the door and threw herself into the car, hurriedly put on her seatbelt, and pushed the key into the ignition, turning it, except it wouldn’t turn. What the hell?
