Odds and Endings: Fiction Short and Otherwise, my first collection of short stories, will be released on November 24th, 2015, is now available for pre-order in trade paperback and for the Kindle. (Links below) There is one novella and 12 short stories, along with a smattering of poetry.

My novels are all dark fantasy/supernatural horror/magical realism, but, in my short stories, I’ve stretoddsandendings-teaser-joeched my wings a little and explored some new genres. In the pages of Odds and Endings you’ll find science fiction, psychological horror, and even a bit of romance…along with, yes, dark fantasy, supernatural horror, and magical realism. After all, you always come back to what you love.

Two men were climbing out of a red pickup truck to his left, and they had guns. It must have been the pickup that had hit him the first time. He blinked, trying to focus. His own gun was gone, probably flung somewhere in the car during the wreck. He scrambled to unlatch the seat belt, wincing with the effort, and then crawled across to the passenger’s seat, opening the door and spilling out onto the road.
