My good friend Robin Raven just released her first novel! It’s titled Next Stop: Nina, and is about learning to accept yourself despite your past, and time travel! (you can purchase it at the very end of this post!)

Robin Raven

Nina never really felt comfortable in this world. As she struggles to cope with the pain of her present and past, the young girl’s life is changed through the beauty of art. When Nina grows up and winds up in over her head in a dark place, she finds herself somehow transported to another time when nothing is quite what it seems. She must fight the horrors of her past all over again. Along the way, she faces greater challenges than she imagined. This is a character-driven novel with a heroine who faces life, love, and overcoming suicidal depression on her own terms.

I formatted her book for her, so if you like how it looks in Kindle or print, that’s me!  If you don’t… well, then it wasn’t me! 😉

From Joe's writing

She had said her prayers every night for as long as she could remember, but since Tanner’s death praying had been difficult at best. She believed in God, Jesus, and of course the blessed Mother Mary, and she still had faith, but it was harder. If God existed, why would He allow the creature that murdered Tanner to exist? Surely it wasn’t one of God’s creatures. But God saw everything, didn’t He? How could He let something like that – something that had no right to exist in nature – destroy her brother? How could God take away the one person she always knew she could count on?
