Dark

Less than two miles away, deep in the forest behind the lake, the fetch stirred. It thought of Jenny and of all the things it would do to her. Pushing up through the grass and leaves that had surrounded it for the last two days, the monster stretched its arms and yawned as if coming out of a deep slumber.
