He looked at the clock: it was just after two in the morning. Ben sighed, stretched, and forced himself out of bed. Where was his vaunted luck now? He could always roll sevens, got straight A’s in school, and never failed to buy a winning lottery ticket. So why couldn’t he get 24-year-old Katy Ruskin to realize that, in the grand scheme of things, a five year age difference just wasn’t important?
