Katy had been able to enter other people’s dreams ever since she hit puberty at age 11. That was her ability, passed down to her through her father’s magically enhanced genes. She was tied into the spirt room on some level even she didn’t understand and could visit it in her dreams and from there enter the dreams of almost anyone she’d ever met.
