The girl, sitting across from Wang in one of the waiting rooms, had apparently swerved to avoid the biker and run straight into a swing set, bending up her bicycle and throwing herself from her ride. Not knowing what else to do and unable to help the rider, she’d hobbled down the street and shown up here, in Maya’s life, interrupting Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert on channel ten.
