Claire found herself in a graveyard, the sky rolling with thunder-clouds and the air so thick with moisture that it almost hurt to breathe. She was eleven years old and had sneaked out of the house for the first time in her life. She was dressed in cowboy print pajamas and wearing moccasins, trying desperately to be brave.
