I’m working on several things at the moment, including the as-of-yet STILL untitled short story and novella collection to be released later this year, Memories of a Ghost, Leap Year, and, of course, the final book in the Small Things trilogy, tentatively titled A Tapestry of Shadows.

I’m hoping to release both the short story collection and Memories of a Ghost later this year, Tapestry in 2015, and Leap Year in 2016. Memories and Leap Year are both stand-alone novels but are set in the same universe as the Small Things trilogy and will feature a few surprise cameos.

And that’s what I’m working on!

From Joe's writing

His head spinning with theories – God, how he enjoyed working on something challenging for a change, like his old days in Chicago – the Sheriff decided to pay a visit to the hospital and hopefully talk to whoever had been Spencer’s nurse on the night in question. If the boy had left the hospital, the nurse would know; and if Jenny McGee had been lying about going to see her sick friend, maybe someone would have picked up on that as well. Relishing the challenge of once again breaking a case, Ruskin crammed himself into his cruiser and headed for the hospital.
