The wolf crept around the side of the marketplace, sniffing the wind. There were men and women everywhere, many different races, in various states of health. There were fat ones, thin ones, old ones, and young ones, all equally slow but also equally cunning. He would have to tread carefully if he wanted to survive this dangerous encounter with the humans.
