Dowd parked the truck in front of the hotel as he surveyed the lay of the land. They were still in there; that much he could tell. And, as he got closer, he’d be able to tell more. Like a ship to a beacon, he would be drawn to the enemy, would seek them out and put them to rest. He would smite them, just as the Almighty intended.
