I’m almost finished writing the final chapter in “Memories of a Ghost,” my third novel and first non-Small Things novel. (Though it does take place in the same universe.) If editing, proofing, and the inevitable re-writing goes well, I expect to publish in May. Wish me luck!

You can read a sample chapter at the bottom of the page here, though the final manuscript has changed somewhat from that PDF file.

From Joe's writing

He moved toward Emily’s room. “Em, we still have time…” The words stuck in his throat as he pushed open the door to his sister’s room. The room, painted blue three years ago, was white again, and filled with filing cabinets and storage boxes. Not only was Emily not there, but her bed and dresser, her stereo, all of it – everything was gone.
