Kevin Haj leaned back in his desk chair, eyes closed, trying to make sense of what was happening to him. He should be preparing lesson plans for next week’s algebra classes—that’s what he usually did during his break period, when he wasn’t grading papers—but he just couldn’t concentrate, not with the way he was feeling today.
