Connor Locke was falling through darkness, his hands scrambling for some kind of purchase, for anything, but finding nothing. Jimmy sacrificed himself to save Connor, and it had worked, but now Connor was going to die. It couldn’t end this way, it just couldn’t. Jimmy’s sacrifice had to mean something.
