They spent some time under the big tent, cooling off and watching acrobats dance and do all sorts of tricks, and then stared in awe as a brother and sister act leapt from one trapeze to another, every time seeming as though they might plunge to their deaths below. They didn’t, though. Every single time, Alfred caught Victoria, saving her from certain doom.
