FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Bestselling author Joe DeRouen releases Odds and Endings: Fiction Short and Otherwise, his fourth book and first short story collection
ROGERS, ARKANSAS, NOV 24, 2015: Author Joe DeRouen releases Odds and Endings: Fiction Short and Otherwise, a collection of short fantasy, science fiction, and horror stories
The collection contains twelve short stories and one novella. In A Stranger with Your Hair, you’ll meet Parker McCain, a womanizer who’s always looking for the perfect partner. He’ll get all that and more when he makes a certain wish. Speaking of wishes, The Wish shows exactly why you should be very careful when you hold someone’s heart in your hands, while Mommy’s Favorite illustrates what can happen when a mother’s love goes too far. And in Merryland, you’ll spend time with Zara Boone, a woman who gets far more than she bargained for when she inherits her dead grandmother’s house. Those are just a few of the stories that await you in Joe DeRouen’s Odds and Endings.
Joe was born in Carthage, Illinois, and currently lives in Rogers, Arkansas with his wife Andee, their son Fletcher, and their cats Milo, Lucky, and Archer. Joe is a freelance writer and substitute teacher, and also serves on the Arkansas Arts Academy school board. He has previously published three novels: Memories of a Ghost, Small Things, and Threads.
